IPL 2024: Mumbai Indians sign This World Cup Winner to replace injured Vishnu Vinod
Mumbai Indians have made another replacement in their team in the IPL 2024 season.
MI have started the season in an underwhelming fashion with three defeats in the first four matches. And now they have lost one of their key domestic players.

Vishnu Vinod, the Kerala-born player, has been ruled out of the IPL with an injury. Vinod suffered an injury to his left forearm and won't take any part in this edition of the tournament.
Mumbai Indians have replaced Vinod with Saurashtra wicketkeeper-batter Harvik Desai.
"24-year-old Saurashtra wicket-keeper batter, Harvik Desai is all set to join the Mumbai Indians family for IPL 2024. An under-19 World Cup winner, Harvik made his domestic debut across formats in the 2018-19 season, and averages over 30 at a healthy strike rate of 134.17 in T20s," a statement from Mumbai Indians wrote.
Harvik Desai has been a mainstay at Saurashtra over the last few years and is known for his aggressive batting. The youngster will be hoping to showcase his talent in the IPL.
Desai was part of the India U-19 World Cup-winning team in 2018 and was part of the squad with the likes of Shubman Gill, Shivam Mavi and others. Desai also scored the winning hit in the Final against Australia.
