IPL 2024: The first week of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 saw a total of ten matches being played between the ten high quality teams. Nine out of ten teams except Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have played at least two matches each so far in the tournament.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) is the only team to play three matches, and their former captain, Virat Kohli is also currently the highest run-scorer in the IPL 2024. His unbeaten 83-run knock off 59 balls, took his tally to 181 runs from three matches at an average of 90.50 and a strike rate of 141.41.

Among the top ten run-scorers in IPL 2024 after week one, two uncapped Indians in Riyan Parag and Abhishek Sharma have also found place. Three overseas cricketers have made it to the list.
Talking about the top ten wicket-takers in IPL 2024 after one, Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman is ruling the roost with six wickets in two matches at an average of 9.83. Uncapped Harshit Rana of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) is second after picking five wickets in two matches.
