IPL 2024 playoffs: Fans are waiting desperately for the mouth-watering clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday, May 18.

Two of the most followed teams in the history of IPL would be going against each other for a spot in the IPL 2024 playoffs. While RCB need to beat CSK by 18 runs (while chasing) or 11 balls remaining (while defending), the five-time champions led by Ruturaj Gaikwad just need a win against the hosts in Bengaluru.

Amid all the permutations and combinations, rain is also expected to play its part. High chances of rain have been predicted in the Karnataka capital on the match day. It rained heavily in Bengaluru on Friday as well.

They will finish at fourth ahead of Delhi Capitals (14), RCB and LSG. RCB will finish their campaign at 13 points in 14 matches. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) would be the four teams in the IPL 2024 playoffs.
