Punjab Kings' IPL 2024 campaign promises to be an enticing one. The Kings have bolstered their unit with a few robust additions in the auction and will hope for a better outing this time.
They are one of the three IPL teams from the inception who haven't tasted an IPL success. The Kings brought in a few handy players in the auction, with Rilee Rossouw, and Chris Woakes being some of their big arrivals for the upcoming season.

But apart from their starting eleven, the Impact Player will also play a big part. PBKS changed and chopped their Impact Player last season, but they have a lot more tested contenders now who can showcase their talent in crunch situations and get the team over the line. Here are four perfect Impact Players who can shine for Punjab Kings in IPL 2024-
Harpreet Brar is a bowling all-rounder who can tonk the ball with his willow. The southpaw is a handy lower-middle-order player who can be a perfect Impact Player for Punjab Kings. The 28-year-old can be used in any situation at any venue due to his all-round abilities, and we may see him in action this season.
Atharva Taide is a 23-year-old batter who can be used as an Impact Player for PBKS. He scored 186 runs last season in seven innings last season at a decent strike rate of 144. Taide's ability to find the fence and score runs quickly makes him a strong candidate for the role.
Arshdeep Singh will be the spearheading pacer for PBKS in IPL 2024. The left-arm pacer is a strong candidate to be one of the starters but the Punjab team management can use him as an Impact Player. He can be brought in as IP replacing one of the batters by Punjab, which can play a big part in the outcomes.
Rishi Dhawan was used as an Impact Player last season a few times. The 33-year-old all-rounder was mainly used as a bowler, but he can be a handy batter as well. Dhawan was retained by PBKS and his role may well be to provide strength to the bowling if they need it in the coming season. The highly-experienced Indian player can make major impact for PBKS in IPL as the Kings will expect bigger things from him.
