Rajasthan Royals will be content with their pre-IPL proceedings after a fruitful IPL 2024 auction in Dubai.
The Royals won the IPL in 2008, but since then have only made it to the Final once. It will be a massive challenge for them to replicate their 2008 plaudits, but the Royals are at a better stage this year.

They have roped in Rovman Powell, Nandre Burger in the auction, whereas the retained stars already add much to their firepower. With the likes of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson, Trent Boult, Shimron Hetmyer and others already at their disposal, RR fans will be beaming with hopes for the upcoming season.
The newly introduced Impact Player rule gives certain leeways to teams and Royals can expect these four players to play apart from the bench in the IPL 2024 season-
Dhruv Jurel was used as an Impact Player many times in IPL 2023, and the batter can be used in the same way this year as well. Jurel scored 152 runs at a strike rate of 172 last season. He is a good finisher and can be ideal for the Royals in a run chase.
Shubham Dubey's big-money move to Rajasthan Royals was a reward for his amazing outings in the domestic circuit. The Vidarbha player is known for his hard-hitting prowess and can be a perfect player in the Impact Player role. Although it is his first IPL season, but Dubey can expect a few opportunities.
Sandeep Sharma is a bowling option for Rajasthan Royals as an Impact Player. Sandeep's ability to swing the ball early in the inning makes him a potent player to come on as an Impact Player and he is also quite good in the death overs as well. Hence the Royals may name him on the bench if they bat first in a match and bring him on later on.
Avesh Khan was roped in from Lucknow Super Giants in a trade and the Indian pacer can be a big signing for Rajasthan Royals. Avesh Khan is known for his pace and can be introduced as an Impact Player in matches.
