The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, established by the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) with the support of the state government in 2003, will play host to at least seven games during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.
The venue, famously known as Hyderabad Cricket Stadium, has served as home venues to Hyderabad state teams, Indian cricket team and since 2008, when IPL started, as a home to the Hyderabad-based franchises - defunct Deccan Chargers, and now Sunrisers Hyderabad.

In IPL 2024, the Uppal Stadium in Hyderabad will host 7 of SRH's home league stage matches. The Hyderabad venue will host it’s 12th season of IPL. Here is a look at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium information, T20 and IPL records at the venue ahead of IPL 2024:
Known to for it's flat wickets, Hyderabad venue has also helped slower bowlers as the game progresses, providing assistance to spinners, who have dominated the wickets column at the venue. And like most venues, the chasing team has enjoyed majority of the success in Hyderabad as well.
It's the Indian summer, and the day will be very hot, seeing temperature rise up to 39°C in March, but is expected to get slightly cooler in the nights with temperature reducing as low as 26°C. In May we will see summer showers.
