IPL 2024: Ranji Trophy Man 2023-24 Man of the Series Tanush Kotian has replaced Adam Zampa at Rajasthan Royals (RR) for IPL 2024. Gujarat Titans' Robin Minz, who got injured in a bike accident, has been replaced by BR Sharath.
Australia spinner Zampa, pulled out of the IPL 2024, due to personal reasons. He played six matches for Rajasthan Royals last year and picked eight wickets at an average of 23.50 and an economy rate of 8.55. He was retained by the franchise ahead of the IPL 2024 auction.

Robin Minz, a tribal cricketer from Jharkhand, was bought for Rs 3.60 crore by Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2024 auction. Unfortunately, he got injured in a bike accident early in march. His superbike was severely damaged after the collision in Ranchi.
"Gujarat Titans (GT) added B R Sharath to their squad as replacement for the injured Robin Minz while Tanush Kotian joined Rajasthan Royals (RR) in place of Adam Zampa for the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024," an IPL release revealed.
"BR Sharath – a wicketkeeper-batter – represents Karnataka in Domestic Cricket. He has so far played 28 T20s, in addition to 20 First-Class matches and 43 List A games, and has 328 T20 runs against his name. He will join GT for his base price of INR 20 Lac.
"Tanush Kotian, who recently made solid all-round contributions as Mumbai won the 42nd Ranji Trophy title, joins RR for his base price of INR 20 Lac. He has represented Mumbai in 23 T20s, 26 First-Class games and 19 List A matches," it added.
Kotian was Man of the Series in Ranji Trophy 2023-2024. He scored 502 runs in 10 matches at an average of 41.83. Kotian also picked 29 wickets at an average of 16.96 with his off-spin bowling.
21-year-old Minz is a highly rated wicketkeeper-batter, who hasn't yet played for the Jharkhand senior team. He made all the right noises ahead of the IPL 2024 auction.
Former India cricketer Robin Uthappa described him as the 'left-handed Kieron Pollard.' In addition to Mumbai Indians, Minz underwent trials with various franchises, including Lucknow Supergiants, Delhi Capitals, and Kolkata Knight Riders.
Despite going unsold in the IPL 2023 auction, the hard-hitting batter secured a whopping Rs 3.60 crore. There was initially a bidding war between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI). Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) also gave a go, but it was Shubman Gill-led Gujarat Titans (GT) who secured his services at the end.
