Royal Challengers Bengaluru will have a bit more leeway than what is stipulated if they are chasing the target against Chennai Super Kings on Saturday (May 18).
RCB are set to play CSK in a virtual knockout match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The winner of the match is likely to advance to the playoffs.

RCB do have an inferior Net Run Rate than CSK, and need to win by a sizeable margin in order to qualify for the playoffs. As per the calculations, if RCB score 200 runs, they will have to win by a margin of 18 runs.
In case of chasing the same amount, RCB will have to win by a margin of 11 or more balls to spare. But RCB will have a certain room in this case.
If Virat Kohli and co. are chasing the target against CSK, they will have to finish the match with 11 or more balls to spare only if they score 1 more run than the CSK total. Hence if CSK score 200 and RCB end up winning the match by scoring 201, they will have to finish within 18.1 overs.
But if they score more than one run compared to CSK's total, they do have a bit more deliveries-
