Royal Challengers Bangalore has conjured up a decent squad ahead of the IPL 2024 tournament. RCB are yet to win the IPL and their squad is equipped to end their trophy drought in the upcoming season.
RCB did retain the majority of their core players but let go of some key names such as Wanindu Hasaranga, Harshal Patel and Josh Hazlewood. In the IPL 2024 auction, they have made some decent acquisitions.

They have experienced campaigners like Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, and Mohammed Siraj in the team. Along with that, there are a few decent youngsters who are keen to announce their arrival and can prove to be an important piece of the RCB jigsaw over the course of the season.
Will Jacks has played for England across all formats but is yet to make his debut in the IPL. The Englishman is known for his blitzkrieg with the bat and will be looking to do the same for RCB in the upcoming IPL season. He scores at a rate of 150 in T20Is and his Test strike rate is even staggering with 99. Hence RCB fans can only expect more action if Jacks gets to the crease.
Anuj Rawat made his IPL debut back in 2021. In the last three seasons, Rawat has played 19 matches and has scored 220 runs at an average of 18. The 24-year-old southpaw is yet to show his full potential for RCB but the upcoming season is the perfect opportunity for him to show his class. Rawat's work with the gloves also provides another dimension to his game, and eyes will be on him if he gets a game.
Suyash Prabhudessai has made it to the RCB ranks after a serial performance with his domestic team Goa in the last few years. Prabhudessai has so far played 11 IPL matches since making his debut in 2022, but has a modest record with just 102 runs to his name. The 26-year-old Goa batter was used as an Impact Player last season but failed to make a consistent mark. But IPL 2024 can be the breakthrough season for the dashing player, who can emerge as an important player for RCB.
