Sunil Narine finds some interstellar power in his willow whenever he faces Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL.

And the love affair continued as the KKR star smashed RCB across the park in the match on Friday (March 29). The Kolkata star demolished RCB bowlers again in the run chase.

The KKR star didn't have the best of spells with the ball. Narine was hit by Virat Kohli and co. and the RCB batters extracted 40 runs off his four overs. He got a wicket but the vintage Narine bowling was absent. But the Caribbean stalwart made things up with the bat.

After being sent on as an opener, Narine bludgeoned past the RCB bowlers to provide KKR a superb start. Narine scored 47 runs off just 22 balls, hitting 2 fours and 5 sixes in the process.

Sunil Narine finds his Batting Prowess against RCB

Sunil Narine has always looked like a frontline batter whenever KKR faced RCB over the years. Narine has scored four fifties in his IPL career, two of them coming against the Bengaluru outfit. Narine scores at a rate of 195 against RCB and he has found his batting prowess most of the time.

The KKR fans have seen the sight many times and the plan of playing Narine as an opener worked excellently for them again. He demolished the RCB bowlers, hitting pulls, and dispatching overpitch deliveries. He hit sixes off Mohammed Siraj, and then latched on to Yash Dayal, who must have had his last year's nightmares while Narine was clearing him out.

The expectation was that Narine would get to his 3rd fifty against RCB, but he got yorked by Mayank Dagar just after the powerplay and lost his off stump.

But this was an encouraging sight for the KKR fans. Sunil Narine as an opener was missing in the last few seasons, but it looks like the return of Gautam Gambhir has reinstated the KKR stalwart in his old role.
