The seventeenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set to begin on March 22 with defending champions Chennai Super Kings playing hosts to Royal Challengers Bangalore at the MA Chidamabaram Stadium in Chennai.

Like the last two seasons, ten teams - Mumbai Indians, CSK, RCB, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Titans, Lucknow Super Giants, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings will battle for the coveted title.

As the season approaches, many teams are likely to launch new kits for the new season. Over the years, we have seen teams don unique jerseys made up of recycled material to sporting jerseys for some important causes.

RCB, who used green jersey to spread the message of keeping the planet clean and healthy, also sported a blue jersey in support of frontline workers, who were helping during the COVID pandemic.

Ahead of IPL 2024, only three of the ten teams have unveiled their jersey for the upcoming season and the remaining teams will reveal their kits as we build up to the season opener. Some teams may also stick to their kits from last season as all teams sported unique looks.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Capitals, Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Gujarat Titans, Lucknow Super Giants and Rajasthan Royals have all unveiled their IPL 2024 team jerseys for the upcoming season.

Sunrisers Hyderabad IPL 2024 Jersey

SRH 2024 jersey was unveiled on Thursday (March 7). The Sunrisers, who retain the orange and black, have followed the pattern similar to the one used in their sister franchise in the SA20 by Sunrisers Eastern Cape.

The 2016 champions, who open their 2024 campaign in Kolkata against KKR on March 24, revealed their kit with a picture of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and the caption that read. "Ready to unleash the fiery heat of Hyderabad."

Mumbai Indians IPL 2024 Jersey

The five-time champions, who will open their 2024 campaign on March 24 against Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad, revealed their MI 2024 jersey on Thursday (March 7). While they have retained the same colours of Blue and Gold, MI have launched their first IPL kit under Skechers.

The design is inspired by initialism and features initial M placed in grid format with a play of thick and thin lines in Royal Blue as well as other patterns with a dash of gold.

Chennai Super Kings IPL 2024 Jersey

The defending champions were the first team to reveal their kit for the new season. They have retained the traditional yellow and blue. In fact, the CSK 2024 jersey design also is the same with an additional star on top of the logo marking their fourth title and also a logo of Etihad Airways on the back.

Rajasthan Royals IPL 2024 Jersey

RR unveiled their new kit with a video featuring leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. There is no change to the colours, but there is a little change to the patterns on the torso as the franchise retains the traditional pink and blue.

The RR 2024 jersey is being "Inspired by the indomitable warrior's spirit" and pays a homage to Rajasthan's essence, rich heritage and vibrant culture. The design is based on bandhan pattern. Royals open their IPL 2024 campaign against LSG at home on March 24.

Gujarat Titans IPL 2024 Jersey

The GT 2024 jersey is yet to be officially launched, but from the latest social media posts from the franchise, there is a glimpse of the kit, which retains the colours with a little change to the lightning patterns and new sponsor.

GT, who open their campaign against former captain Hardik Pandya's Mumbai Indians at home on March 24, have a new shirt sponsor in Dream11. The jersey is almost similar to the one used last season.

Lucknow Super Giants IPL 2024 Jersey

LSG 2024 jersey has not officially been revealed, but going by their social media posts, it looks like they have retained the colours from last season with a little change to the designs on the shirt. LSG will open their campaign against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur on March 23.

Punjab Kings IPL 2024 Jersey

PBKS 2024 jersey was unveiled on March 16. The Punjab-based side have opted to retain red in the top, but have switched to a shade of blue for the trousers. The PBKS new jersey is red with a honeycomb pattern.

PBKS, who open their IPL 2024 campaign on March 23 at their new home against DC, have used tri-colour on the shoulder blades as tribute to Indian armed forces with the Kesari pattern on the bottom being inspired by fire, and finally the Nihal blue arrows on the sides symbolise weapons of warriors of Punjab.

Delhi Capitals IPL 2024 Jersey

DC 2024 jersey is the same one used by the WPL team earlier this year. The colours blue and red are retained with a little change to the designs and patterns on the shirt, featuring Delhi's heritage and innovation through its two lifelines - the historic city map and iconic metro line. DC will open their campaign away at Punjab Kings on March 23.

Kolkata Knight Riders IPL 2024 Jersey

KKR 2024 jersey was launched on March 18. The Knights have retained the purple and gold combo with a slight change to the designs or patterns on the top and the trousers. Boosted by the return of Gautam Gambhir and skipper Shreyas Iyer, KKR will open their campaign at home against Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 23.

Royal Challengers Bangalore IPL 2024 Jersey

RCB 2024 jersey was revealed during the Unbox event at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Tuesday (March 19). RCB havev opted for blue instead of black and retained the red for the new jersey as the team name and logo was also changed.

The Bengaluru-based side, who will now be called Royal Challengers Bengaluru, will open their IPL 2024 campaign against defending champions Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Friday (March 22).
