Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson has revealed a major concern for the team ahead of their IPL 2024 Qualifier 2 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
RR managed a superb victory over Royal Challengers Bengaluru, but now must win against Sunrisers Hyderabad to seal a deal for the Final on Sunday (May 26).

But after the victory against RCB, Samson admitted that things are not particularly healthy at the Rajasthan Royals camp. Although the performance was up to the mark and players stood up to their task, he admitted that nothing is going absolutely perfectly for them at the moment.
Samson, when asked about his health, revealed that he is not 100 per cent fit and well. The player said that there is a seasonal bug that is troubling many players and confirmed that people are having cold issues and coughing.
"I'm not at 100 per cent actually. There is a bug in the dressing room, lots of coughs and a lot of people are a bit unwell," Samson said at the post-match presentation after the RCB victory.
Samson also went on to praise the youngsters Riyan Parag and Dhruv Jurel for their performance. He also credited the bowlers for restricting RCB to a moderate score of 172 in the crucial match. But as they prepare for the upcoming hurdle, Samson will be hoping for the players to get fit physically.
It is likely due to the extreme change in weather and travel for the players. The heat and the sudden rain can be a challenging issue not just for playing conditions, but for the human body itself. After the rain in Guwahati and a bit cooler temperature, RR played at the scorching heat in Ahmedabad. That is probably the reason why some of the members are under the weather a bit. Luckily, the juggernaut will now move to Chennai, which has similar conditions like Ahmedabad, with a big chunk of humidity.
