RCB vs LSG: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will cross swords with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the fifteenth match of IPL 2024 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on April 2, Tuesday.
It is going to be an absolute belter of a pitch and the batters will find it easy to go about their business. The batsmen will look to target the short boundaries every now and then in an attempt to add flesh to the scoreboard.

1. Home factor: RCB were completely outplayed by KKR in the last game in Bengaluru. On a wicket that is best suited for batters to express themselves, RCB had a chance to post a huge total on the board but they were able to muster 182/6 in 20 overs. In response, KKR silenced the crowd by chasing down the target with 19 balls to spare. After enduring a defeat at their fortress, RCB will be looking to turn things around at home against LSG.
2. Mental Edge: RCB definitely have a mental edge over LSG going forward in the game because they have a better head-to-head record. Both teams have played four games so far in the competition, with RCB emerging as the victorious side on three occasions whereas LSG managed to win just once. In IPL 2022 season, RCB did a double over LSG by beating them by 18 runs and 14 runs respectively whereas in IPL 2023 season, LSG won the away leg by 1 wicket and RCB won the away leg by 18 runs.
3. Virat Kohli and Cameron Green expected to flex their muscles: Virat Kohli is already the leading run-scorer in the ongoing edition of the IPL with 181 runs in three games at a batting average of 90.50 and a strike rate of 141.41 including two fifties. The in-form batsman is expected to go all guns blazing against LSG whereas Cameron Green who scored 33 off 21 balls (4 fours, 2 sixes) in the last game against KKR will look to approach the game with intent in an attempt to lead the batting attack by example.
