The IPL 2024 has been the biggest victim of rain so far. Over the years, ten matches have been abandoned without a ball being bowled. And this year makes three of those ten matches.

Kolkata Knight Riders' match against Delhi Daredevils in Delhi got washed out in the inaugural season of IPL in 2008. That was the very first match of IPL which got washed out.

When it comes to rain washouts and match abandonment, Kolkata Knight Riders have been the biggest sufferers.

Over the years, out of the 10 matches which have felt the wrath of rain gods, KKR have been involved in six of those matches. Kolkata Knight Riders were involved in washouts in 2008, 2009, 2012, 2015 once each and now they have been involved in two washouts in 2024.
