It has been a magnificent season in the Indian Premier League. Kolkata Knight Riders have been crowned as the IPL 2024 Champions after they beat the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Final.
KKR finished top of the table while SRH finished 2nd in the table. All in all, it was the two best teams locking horns against each other in the championship clash.

Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru were the other two teams in the playoffs. RCB got eliminated from the Eliminator, while RR were beaten in the Qualifier 2.
This year, the Playoff matches were played at two venues as usual. Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad hosted the Eliminator and Qualifier 1, while MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai hosted the Qualifier 2 and the Final.
Both Ahmedabad and Chennai got the high-profile playoff games because of last season's performance. As Gujarat Titans finished runners-up, their home ground received the first two playoff matches, whereas Chennai Super Kings becoming champions allotted the two biggest matches to Chennai.
Likewise, the IPL 2025 venues are already confirmed. If any major changes don't take place, the next season will see Hyderabad and Kolkata hosting the playoff matches.
Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium will host the Eliminator and Qualifier 1. On the other hand, Eden Gardens in Kolkata will host the Qualifier 2 and the Final. This will be the 3rd Final at the Eden Gardens.
