IPL 2024: The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 is set to start from Friday, March 22 and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will take on Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the opening match at the Chepauk. Let's see the list of players who can take most runs and pick most wickets for RCB.

Virat Kohli: A lot is on stake for Kohli as he is eyeing a spot in India's T20 World Cup 2024 squad. He was the fourth-highest run-scorer in the IPL last year. Kohli scored 639 runs in 14 matches at an average of 53.25 and a strike rate of 139.82. The former RCB captain is expected to emerge as the key batter for RCB once again.
Faf du Plessis: The RCB captain was the second-highest run-scorer in the IPL 2023. He scored 730 runs at an average of 56.15 and a strike rate of 153.68. He has scored over 600 runs in two of his last two seasons.
Glenn Maxwell: The Australia superstar was the third-highest run-scorer for RCB last year. He scored 400 runs in 14 matches at an average of 33.33 and a whopping strike rate of 183.48. Maxwell was in a red-hot form in India during the 2023 World Cup. He also smashed a T20I hundred against West Indies in February.
Mohammed Siraj: The pacer had emerged as the leading wicket-taker for RCB in the IPL 2023. He picked 19 wickets in 14 matches at an average of 19.73. Siraj is India's leading bowler across formats alongside Jasprit Bumrah since the last couple of years, and RCB would be counting on him big time once again.
Karn Sharma: The 36-year-old was RCB's third-highest wicket-taker last year. He picked 10 wickets in seven matches at an average of 22.3. The leg-spinner has played a total of 166 T20 matches and picked 142 wickets at an economy rate of 7.60.
Alzarri Joseph: West Indies' 27-year-old pacer Alzarri Joseph can also emerge as the leading wicket-taker for RCB this season. He has been bought by the franchise for a whopping sum of Rs 11.50. The lanky pacer has played a total of 104 T20 matches and picked 124 wickets at an average of 24.97. He was part of Gujarat Titans last year where he picked seven wickets in seven matches.
