Kolkata Knight Riders are sitting comfortably in the 2nd spot of the IPL 2024 points table with 10 points in seven matches.

The Knight Riders have had an impressive first part of the season as they have registered some magnificent victories. They secured a thrilling win over RCB last Sunday and on Monday (April 22), the Knight Golf event was held at the Royal Calcutta Golf Club.

It is an annual charity event of the Knight Riders which generally is a fundraiser for social works. This year, KKR collaborated with the Meer Foundation to help underprivileged children in Birbhum for holistic development through sports and education.

On the day of the Knight Golf event, KKR stars Phil Salt and Ryan Ten Doeschate attended a press conference along with Venky Mysore and spoke about many things. Former KKR player and current fielding coach Ryan Ten Doeschate revealed the amazing forehand strength of KKR pacer Mitchell Starc.

Ten Doeschate revealed that KKR pacer Mitchell Starc once hit 255 yards with his forehand. Then the host of the event shared the KKR player who surprised everyone with his golf skills last year.

"Last year, the whole team came out. We took them on to the driving range. Whether it was Andre Russell or Rinku Singh, whoever we put a club in their hands, it was magnificent to watch how natural they were and how cleanly they hit the ball. I have never seen anyone as far as Andre hit it. The surprise was Varun Chakravarthy, I never thought he would be able to hit a golf ball the way he did," said the host of the KKR Knight Golf Event.

Like last year, Rinku Singh shone with the club in his hand this time as well. The southpaw managed to Putt the ball perfectly.

Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Suyash Sharma, Phil Salt were also part of the KKR Golf squad and all the KKR players had an eventful and light day out.
