Mumbai Indians star Ishan Kishan was spotted wearing a hilarious Superman-esque suit while travelling with the team at the airport.

Mumbai Indians are set to play Delhi Capitals in their next game on April 6. Ahead of that, the players are headed for a time off and Kishan was seen wearing the Superman suit during the travel.

Fans were entertained to see Kishan in that avatar, many asked the reason behind Kishan's absurd outfit.

Why Ishan Kishan was wearing a Superman Suit?

Ishan Kishan has been given a hilarious punishment by the Mumbai Indians. According to an MI rule, any player coming late in the team meeting will have to wear the Superman suit the next time they travel somewhere.

Kishan was late for a meeting and was subsequently punished for his offence. This is a traditional punishment at Mumbai Indians and this is not Kishan's first offence. Along with Kishan, three other players were also punished for coming late in the meeting.

Shams Mulani, Kumar Kartikeya and new-signing Sri Lankan pacer Nuwan Thushara were the other offenders. The quartet of MI players had to wear their outfits as Mumbai Indians released a video.

Mumbai Indians have lost their first three matches and are currently languishing at the bottom of the table. The Paltans desperately need a victory as they take the field against the Capitals at the Wankhede again in the next match.
