IPL 2025: Ajinkya Rahane's Ascension as KKR Captain only a Half-Circle

The departure of former captain Shreyas Iyer to Punjab Kings left a leadership void, which Rahane has been aptly chosen to fill. His previous leadership experience, notably leading India to a historic Test series victory in Australia in 2020-21, underscored his capability.

KKR officially announced Rahane as their captain for the upcoming season, with Venkatesh Iyer serving as vice-captain.
