Famed music composer and playback singer Anirudh Ravichander is set to put on a show at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai ahead of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) clash with Mumbai Indians (MI) in IPL 2025 on Sunday (March 23).
Anirudh, who is an ardent CSK fan, took to social media to reveal about his performance in a special opening ceremony at the Chepauk, while there were clips circulating on the internet about one of his potential acts.

The news was later confirmed by the IPL Instagram handle with the post: "Anirudh Ravichander is all set to light up the #TATAIPL 2025 stage before the much-anticipated #CSKvMI clash."
The IPL 2025 already opened with a grand ceremony at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan headlining the event ahead of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) season opener.
Apart from SRK, Bollywood star Disha Patani, singer Shreya Ghosal and Punjabi singer Karan Aujla also dazzled the fans ahead of IPL 2025 curtain-raiser. Now, another venue is also set to witness some star performance as reported earlier by Sportstar.
As per Sportstar, BCCI has planned to have special ceremony ahead of the first match at every venue this season as a mark of celebrating 18 seasons of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
IPL and Anirudh himself have announced about the Tamil sensation's performance which is starting at 6:30 PM IST on Sunday (March 23) ahead of CSK vs MI clash, while clips of one of his possible acts was circulated on social media on the eve of the ceremony.
Several videos shared online showed Anirudh Ravichander rehearsing the Thalapathy Vijay starrer Leo's song, Badass, and Jawan's Chaleya. Anirudh's performance along with a dance troupe is expected to last for 20 minutes.
Anirudh Ravichander, a huge fan of CSK and Mahendra Singh Dhoni, has earlier also collaborated with his hometown franchise for theme songs and more. Also, during matches in Chennai's Chepauk, Anirudh's songs are a regular during the Indian Premier League (IPL).
