IPL 2025 Lucknow Super Giants: How the Biggest Buys Performed?

Except for Jason Holder, all the other big buys delivered decent performances in the first two seasons. However, in the last IPL, the form of LSG collectively fell and they failed to qualify for the playoffs.

The most expensive buy, Avesh Khan performed well in the first season and took 18 wickets, but the second season got hampered by injuries and got released afterwards. Jason Holder also got released after an average first season. Mark Wood also never got the chance to play for a full season for LSG and failed to have an impact.

Quinton de Kock and Krunal Pandya were the only players from this list to continue for the full three years and played crucial roles. Pandya captained the side in 2023, as KL Rahul got injured.
