IPL 2025 Auction Players List: Country-Wise Breakdown of Players Entering IPL Mega Auction

A total of 574 players have made the final players list for the upcoming IPL Mega Auction 2025, scheduled to be held on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as per the announcement from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

The extensive list of 1574 registered players was trimmed down after input from the franchises, and the list includes all the marquee Indian players and overseas players not retained by their teams as well as some new entrants.

Among the 574 players, 366 are Indians, including 318 uncapped players. The full list features 48 capped Indian stars, including the likes of Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer, and also features some uncapped Indians who were a part of previous IPL seasons.

Meanwhile, a total of 208 players make up the overseas list including 3 from Associate nations. Australia and England lead the list with 37 players each. Jos Buttler, Liam Livingstone, Glenn Maxwell and Mitchell Starc will be the big names among these stars.

The country with next biggest entry is South Africa, which has 31 players who made the final list followed by New Zealand and West Indies, who have 24 and 22 players each respectively.

Players from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and Ireland also feature among the foreign players entering the IPL 2025 Mega Auction alongside players from USA and Scotland. In total, 13 countries' players feature in the IPL 2025 Auction final players list.

Like the Indian players, the overseas players list also feature some uncapped players alongside the capped internationals and big name IPL stars like Phil Salt, Noor Ahmad, Rovman Powell, Sikander Raza and many more. Here is a look at the IPL 2025 Auction countrywise players breakdown:
