A total of 1574 players have registered their names for the upcoming IPL Mega Auction 2025, scheduled to be held on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as per the announcement from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
The extensive list of registered players, which will be trimmed after input from the franchises, includes all the marquee Indian players and overseas players not retained by their teams as well as some new additions.

Among the registered players, 1165 are Indians, including 965 uncapped players. The extensive list features 48 capped Indian stars, including the likes of Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer, and also features 152 uncapped Indians who were a part of previous IPL seasons.
Meanwhile, a total of 409 players make up the overseas list including 30 from Associate nations. South Africa, Australia and England lead the list with 91, 76 and 52 registrations respectively. Jos Buttler, David Miller, Glenn Maxwell will be the big names among these stars.
Players from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, New Zealand, West Indies, Zimbabwe and Ireland also feature among the foreign players entering the IPL 2025 Mega Auction alongside players from USA, Canada, Netherlands, Scotland and also one player each from Italy and UAE.
Like the Indian players, the overseas players list also feature some uncapped players alongside the capped internationals and big name IPL stars like Mitchell Starc, Phil Salt, Noor Ahmad, Rovman Powell, Sikander Raza and many more.
