Sediqullah Atal, a lanky left-handed batter from Afghanistan has been making waves int he ongoing Emerging Asia Cup T20. The 23-year-old opener has been a sensation in the tournament, amassing 313 runs in just four matches at an average of 104 and a strike rate of 161.

He has dismantled all the bowlers across the tournament and has played a huge part in taking Afghanistan A to the final of the tournament. The southpaw boasts power-hitting along with immense batting skills. Along with that, his ability to play big knocks has caught the eye.

Lucknow Super Giants: Lucknow are in need of an opener and Sediqullah Atal can be a backup option for someone like Quinton de Kock if the South African is retained. The youngster has a huge potential and LS may eye to bring him.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru: With Virat Kohli set to stay, RCB can bring in someone like Sediqullah Atal and pair them at the top. Kohli's measured approach and Atal's aggression can make the pair a perfect combination for them. Also, the Afghan youngster will learn a lot about the game with someone like Kohli alongside him.

Kolkata Knight Riders: KKR have had Rahmanullah Gurbaz in their side but the Afghan player may not be retained. If the Knights fail to re-sign Gurbaz in the auction, they can eye on Atal as an opener along with someone like Sunil Narine - which will guarantee mayhem and sixes galore.
