IPL 2025 Mega Auction will continue into day 2 as all 10 teams look to finalize their squads for the upcoming season during the bidding process on Monday (November 25) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
A total of 577 players had made the final IPL Auction players list. And among the 577 players, 84 were drawn for the auction on day 2 with 72 players finding suitors and 12 remaining unsold.

The ten franchises, who were boosted with an addition Rs 20 Crore to their purse, taking the total purse to Rs 120 Crore, splashed the cash on some players as Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer and Venkatesh Iyer were roped in for over Rs 20 Crore each.
A total of Rs 467.95 Crore were sold on day 1 of the big auction, where 72 players, including 24 overseas stars were bought by different franchises after some intense bidding wars.
With 132 slots, including 46 overseas, left to fill, expect it to be another busy day at the table for all the ten franchise as they look to finalize a squad for the next cycle of 2025-27 during the mega auction. Here is a look at the dates with timings of the IPL Mega Auction today:
The IPL 2025 Mega auction will take place across two days, starting on Sunday (November 24) and then concluding on Monday (November 25) at the Abady Al Johar Arena in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The second day of the auction is also scheduled to begin at 1 PM local time on November 25. Due to time difference, the bidding process will start at 3:30 PM IST. The late start is due to the India vs Australia Perth Test, which finishes at 3:20 PM IST.
There is no fixed time for when the auction will end, but like on November 24, the auction could close on November 25 around 11 PM IST depending on the number of slots left to fill.
This was the time followed on day 1, but the auction could either end soon or later depending on the number of slots and remaining purse of each team. The squad strength allowed for each team is a minimum of 18 and a maximum of 25.
Additionally, there could be short five to fifteen minute breaks during the auction process, allowing the franchises to make further planning taking into consideration their remaining slots and the most importantly the purse left to buy the desired players.
