There’s something electric about the IPL that gets us buzzing every season. It's not just about cricket; it’s the way these teams brand themselves, the powerhouse of marketing, and the sheer force of fan loyalty. When we think of IPL 2025, we can’t help but wonder: which team’s brand has truly made its mark?

As the IPL brand value continues to grow, we're seeing some fierce competition not just on the field, but in the boardrooms as well. From Chennai Super Kings' iconic leadership to Mumbai Indians' consistency, and the relentless passion of RCB fans, each team seems to be building its own empire. But the question remains: Who’s at the top of this financial ladder?

IPL 2025 Brand Value Rankings Who s Leading the Pack

With the numbers coming in, let’s dive into the brand values of the IPL teams in 2025 and see who’s truly the king of the hill.

1. Chennai Super Kings (US$122 Million)

In 2025, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have clinched the top spot, surpassing traditional powerhouses like Mumbai Indians (MI), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

According to recent reports, CSK's brand value has soared to $122 million, marking a 52% increase from the previous year. This remarkable growth is largely attributed to the enduring legacy of their former captain, MS Dhoni, whose leadership and charisma have left an indelible mark on the franchise's identity.

With their impressive 52% growth, Chennai Super Kings continues to reign supreme in brand value. MS Dhoni’s legendary appeal is the driving force behind their staggering rise. The franchise's success on the field, paired with a fanbase that practically worships the ground Dhoni walks on, makes CSK not just a team but a brand in itself.

2. Mumbai Indians (US$119 Million)

Close behind in second place, Mumbai Indians are worth US$119 million. Despite a few seasons of underperformance, their brand value continues to soar. The combination of familiarity and massive appeal keeps MI in the race, with their five IPL titles and loyal fan following.

3. Royal Challengers Bangalore (US$117 Million)

RCB might still be chasing that elusive first IPL title, but their brand is already a massive success. With a 67% jump in value, they’ve climbed to third place, proving that passionate fans can outweigh titles. The loyalty of RCB’s supporters has become a defining feature of their brand.

4. Kolkata Knight Riders (US$109 Million)

Winning the title in 2024 has put KKR’s brand on a sharp rise of 38%. With three IPL titles under their belt, the defending champions sit comfortably in fourth place. Led by Shreyas Iyer, KKR is proving that victory does wonders, both on and off the field.

5. Sunrisers Hyderabad (US$85 Million)

SRH had a thrilling ride to the finals in 2024 and their brand value has skyrocketed by 76%. They’ve built a solid reputation with key players like Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma. It’s clear their hard-fought run has translated into a massive financial boost.

6. Rajasthan Royals (US$81 Million)

Despite not winning the IPL since 2008, Rajasthan Royals continues to rise in brand value, growing by 30%. With stars like Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson leading the charge, this team’s brand is definitely on the up-and-up.

7. Delhi Capitals (US$80 Million)

DC might still be looking for its first IPL trophy, but their brand value remains steady at US$80 million. With a growth of 24%, they’ve managed to hold on, though they’re in desperate need of a championship to push them higher.

8. Gujarat Titans (US$69 Million)

Despite winning the title in their debut season and coming close in their second, Gujarat Titans’ brand value grew by just 5%. Their success on the field hasn’t yet translated into the same off-field financial explosion as other teams, but there's no denying their potential.

9. Punjab Kings (US$68 Million)

Punjab Kings are all about reinvention, and their 49% growth in brand value is a testament to that. With a new coach in Ricky Ponting and big acquisitions like Shreyas Iyer, they’re hoping this year will be the start of their turnaround.

10. Lucknow Super Giants (US$60 Million)
