Ashutosh Sharma emerged as the standout performer for Delhi Capitals in their nail-biting encounter against Lucknow Super Giants. Entering the fray with DC struggling at 65/5, Ashutosh displayed remarkable composure and aggression, crafting an unbeaten 66 off 31 balls. He hit 5 fours and 5 sixes in his scintillating knock.

3. Kuldeep Yadav becomes the enforcer amid madness

In the midst of a high-scoring match, Kuldeep Yadav played a crucial role in stemming the flow of runs and providing vital breakthroughs for Delhi Capitals. 5. KL Rahul becomes father of a Daughter

KL Rahul's wife Athiya Shetty gave birth to their first child on Monday (March 24) in Mumbai. Rahul was present with his family at the time as the duo entered parenthood. The Delhi Capitals player left Vizag to be with his family and is expected to return for DC's next match.

6. Delhi Capitals become fifth IPL team to unique record

Delhi Capitals became only the fifth IPL team to secure a 1-wicket victory in the tournament history after their victory over LSG. In the IPL, the instance has only taken place five times, with KKR becoming the first team to attain the record back in 2015 when they beat Punjab Kings.

7. Gujarat Titans look to start campaign on a high

Gujarat Titans are set to commence their IPL 2025 campaign with high aspirations, aiming to replicate their previous successes. 8. Shreyas Iyer commences Mission Punjab

Shreyas Iyer, the IPL 2024-winning captain is set for a new mission as he takes the helm at Punjab Kings. Iyer won the title with KKR last year but has found a new home after his Rs 26.75 crore deal at the franchise. Punjab will be hoping for a revival this season as they look for the playoffs, which they have failed to reach in last 10 years in a row.
