Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has announced a coloboration with Metropolitan Transport Corporation (Chennai) Limited (MTC) for the second year in a row to provide free bus ride for home match ticket holders during the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
This partnership allows fans with tickets for Chennai Super Kings' home matches in IPL 2025 to travel in MTC buses (non AC) for free from three hours prior to the start of the match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.

The Chennai-based franchise started this practice from last season as it benefited the travelling fans as the match tickets doubled up as the travel tickets to the venue in Chepauk.
K.S Viswanathan, Chennai Super Kings Managing Director, said this initiative encourage fans to use public transport and also gives a whole new matchday experience, starting from the time they start their commute to the stadium.
"The partnership comes as a part of Chennai Super Kings' commitment to creating a seamless and fan-friendly experience, ensuring that supporters can enjoy the matchday excitement from the moment they leave their homes," Viswanathan was quoted as saying in a release.
"We encourage fans to use public transport and enjoy Chennai Super Kings' matches in Chepauk. With approximately 8000 fans using the bus services from different parts of the city each game in 2024, we expect larger support from fans to use public transport."
