MS Dhoni: In one of the rarest moments in IPL history, MS Dhoni's DRS appeal went down in vain, when he tried to get Virat Kohli out after Khaleel Ahmed trapped the former on the pads during CSK vs RCB, IPL match in Chepauk on Friday, 28th March.
But he did manage to redeem himself overs later, when his lightning-quick stumping skills dismissed the dangerous Phil Salt by the slightest of margins, something which he has done over and over in his career.

To the naked eye it seemed the English batter just managed to get back to his crease but Dhoni was convinced that the foot was in the air and he was totally spot on.
Here's a look at the video:-
During the last ball of the 5th over, Noor Ahmad bowled a deceptive googly that spun away from the right-handed Phil Salt. The delivery beat Salt on the outside edge as he attempted an ambitious inside-out drive.
While missing the ball, Salt's back foot lifted momentarily off the ground. That slight hesitation was enough for Dhoni, who was quick to gather the ball cleanly and dislodge the bails in an instant. Even before Salt could get his foot back in the crease, Dhoni had completed the stumping.
This dismissal was reminiscent of Dhoni's previous stumping of Suryakumar Yadav (SKY) in the last match, showcasing his incredible anticipation and agility. Such moments are a testament to Dhoni's mastery behind the stumps, making the wicketkeeper-batter's presence invaluable for CSK.
Earlier, CSK lost a review after Khaleel Ahmed's confident LBW appeal against Virat Kohli. The ball was full and skidded on, hitting Kohli's pads as he missed a flick. Despite Khaleel's strong appeal, the review showed the ball had pitched outside leg, making it impossible for an LBW. The on-field umpire's Not Out decision was upheld and Dhoni actually ended up as wrong.
