IPL 2025: One of the biggest attractions in the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) season will be 13-year-old prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi.

During the IPL 2025 mega auction held in Jeddah, Rajasthan Royals secured the young talent for Rs 1.1 crore after a brief bidding battle with the Delhi Capitals.

Suryavanshi's selection marks him as the youngest player ever to be signed in the IPL. Known for their knack for identifying and nurturing young talent, the Royals' decision is reminiscent of their previous moves with future stars.

While Suryavanshi's signing has grabbed headlines, he's not the only young talent making waves this season. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have added 18-year-old C Andre Siddarth to their roster, while Rajasthan Royals also brought in another young prospect, 18-year-old Kwena Maphaka. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) secured Swastik Chikara, aged 19, and Punjab Kings (PBKS) welcomed Musheer Khan, who recently turned 20.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi (Rajasthan Royals) - At just 13 years and 360 days, Vaibhav Suryavanshi is the youngest player in IPL history. Rajasthan Royals secured him for ₹1.1 crore after an intense bidding war with Delhi Capitals.
