Virat Kohli and KL Rahul turned heated exchange to warm embrace and fun banter during the IPL 2025 clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Sunday (April 27).
Kohli and Rahul had a heated moment during RCB's run chase. While the exact reason behind the altercation was not clear, the tension was palpable between the duo before play resumed. After the match, the two Indian stars shared a funny moment as Kohli poked fun at Rahul's celebration from the reverse fixture.

Earlier in the season, Rahul, who hails from Karnataka, had made a signature 'Kantara' like celebration that signalled 'this is my ground' after helping DC chase down the total of 163 runs at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Now, all eyes was on what Kohli had in-store for the Karnataka player when playing on his home turf in Delhi. Kohli had celebrated wildly in response Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer cupping his ears at the Bengaluru venue after victory over RCB.
While there was no aggressive reaction towards Rahul, Kohli did have something in-store for his Indian teammate at the Feroz Shah Kotla, where he mocked Rahul's Kantara celebration after RCB avenged the reverse fixture loss to go top of the IPL 2025 points table.

Coming back to the match, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood once again played a key role with three and two wickets respectively to restrict DC to 162/8 in their alloted 20 overs before Kohli and Krunal Pandya's fifties powered RCB to a 6-wicket win in Delhi. The win propelled RCB to the top of the points table and the Capitals are placed at the fourth spot.
This result also meant that RCB remained undefeated away from home this season, extending their record to six, having won in Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, Jaipur, Mullanpur and now Delhi.
