The Kolkata Knight Riders have confirmed that most of their current squad players will be joining the pre-season camp in Kolkata within Thursday (March 13).
The Knight Riders, defending champions of the Indian Premier League (IPL), will commence their IPL 2025 campaign on March 22 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

KKR had a training camp in Mumbai last month, which saw the likes of Rinku Singh, Venkatesh Iyer, Manish Pandey and others taking the field. Knight Riders' new captain Ajinkya Rahane also joined the camp in Mumbai for a couple of days.
Their pre-season camp in Kolkata will start from Wednesday (March 12) and the players have started arriving from Monday. Ramandeep Singh has already reached Kolkata on Monday evening, while the rest are likely to join within two days. The support staff are also scheduled to arrive within the aforementioned time period. South Africa duo Quinton de Kock and Anrich Nortje arrived in Kolkata on Tuesday.
But as per KKR, four players will be joining at a later date, probably four to five days prior to the start of the season. The four players are the Knights' representatives at the Champions Trophy 2025.
India's winning members Harshit Rana and Varun Chakravarthy, are amongst the names. Varun played a crucial part in India's triumphant outing as he picked up 9 wickets in just three matches. Harshit also played the first two matches and showcased his mettle with 4 wickets to his name.
The other two members are Australia's Spencer Johnson and Afghanistan's Rahmanullah Gurbaz.
Johnson had an underwhelming outing for the Aussies, as he only managed 2 wickets for them. Gurbaz also had a disastrous campaign as he only managed 16 runs with an average of 5.33 as the Afghans failed to qualify for knockouts.
