According to sources, the Knight Riders are planning to name Rahane as their leader for the upcoming season.

KKR, who won the IPL in 2024, lost their leader Shreyas Iyer who moved to Punjab Kings in the mega auction. As a potential replacement, they have narrowed down to a couple of names and Rahane has become the leading contender to skipper the side.

The three-time IPL champions are planning to make a strong impact in IPL 2025 and Rahane is being tipped as the perfect man to lead the side.
