Ramandeep Singh, the dynamic all-rounder for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), is poised to enhance his bowling contributions in the upcoming IPL 2025.

Following a stellar performance in the 2024 season, where KKR clinched their third IPL title, Ramandeep is eager to evolve from a batting powerhouse to a pivotal bowling asset for the team.

In the 2024 season, Ramandeep showcased his batting prowess by amassing 125 runs at an impressive strike rate of 201.61, solidifying his role as a formidable middle-order batsman. His exceptional performance not only contributed to KKR's championship victory but also earned him the "Catch of the Season" award.

Reflecting on his journey, Ramandeep expressed gratitude for his retention by KKR in the mega auction, emphasizing the franchise's confidence in his abilities.

"The conversation from IPL 2024 was that coaching staff have the same expectations from my bowling as they had from my batting. A couple of impactful overs in the middle of the bowling innings will be very important for the team. So, I am working on the same. I want to win games as a bowler," Ramandeep said to KKR.

He also cherished his debut for the Indian national team during the T20I series against South Africa in November 2024, marking a significant milestone in his career.

"I am extremely grateful to have made my debut for India. I have worked hard to reach this position in my career, and now, I am reaping the fruits of my hard work. It is a dream come true to get retained in a mega auction. Looking forward, my attempt will be to give my 100% to the team once again," the KKR all-rounder added.

As KKR prepares to defend their title in the IPL 2025 season, Ramandeep's dual capabilities with both bat and ball are anticipated to be instrumental in the team's quest for consecutive championships.
