KKR vs LSG: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the rescheduling of Match No. 19 of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).
Initially set for Sunday, April 6, at Eden Gardens in Kolkata, the match will now take place on Tuesday, April 8, at 3:30 PM.

The decision comes in response to a request from the Kolkata Police, who advised the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) to postpone the game due to personnel deployment across the city during ongoing festivities. The BCCI accepted the recommendation to ensure smooth operations and public safety.
While the KKR vs. LSG match has been shifted, the rest of the IPL 2025 schedule remains unaffected. On April 6, instead of the previously planned double-header, there will now be a single match featuring Sunrisers Hyderabad taking on Gujarat Titans at 7:30 PM, as scheduled.
April 8 will now see a double-header. The rescheduled KKR vs. LSG clash will be played in the afternoon in Kolkata, followed by Punjab Kings hosting Chennai Super Kings in New Chandigarh for Match No. 22 in the evening.
Fans who had planned to attend the KKR vs. LSG fixture are advised to check for updates regarding ticketing and further announcements from the franchises or official IPL platforms.
KKR didn't have the best of starts in their title defense, as they kick-started the tournament with a 7-wicket loss on the hands of RCB. But they came back strong with a clinical 8-wicket win over Rajasthan. LSG on the other hand, kick-started with a huge loss on the hands of Delhi Capitals by just a wicket. But in their following game, they came back strongly and defeated the mighty SRH team by 5 wickets and with 23 balls to spare.
