In the IPL 2025 match between Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans, KL Rahul reached a significant milestone.
Delhi Capitals' wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul etched his name into the IPL record books by becoming the fastest Indian-and third-fastest overall to smash 200 sixes in the league's history.

Rahul achieved the feat during the match against Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday, reaching the milestone with his first six of the innings. Rahul played a decent knock of 28 runs off 14 deliveries.
The landmark came in his 129th IPL innings, placing him behind only two legendary big-hitters in terms of speed to 200 sixes: Chris Gayle and Andre Russell. Gayle, the undisputed six-hitting king, reached the milestone in a staggering 69 innings, while fellow West Indian Russell needed just 97 innings.
Rahul now surpasses a host of established power-hitters, with former RCB and Delhi stalwart AB de Villiers following him on the list, having taken 137 innings to notch 200 maximums.
Among the Indians, Sanju Samson held the record for the quickest to 200 sixes as he scored it in 159 innings.
