IPL 2025 Longest Six: Sunrisers Hyderabad opener Abhishek Sharma has hit biggest maximum this season, having cleared a distance of 106 meters en-route to his maiden Indian Premier League century during a league stage match against Punjab Kings at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.
Earlier, Abhishek's opening partner at Sunrisers Hyderabad Travis Head and Royal Challengers Bengaluru's Phil Salt jointly held the record for the biggest hit this season, having hit 105 meter maximums each.

While Head achieved the distance during SRH's clash against Rajasthan Royals in match 2 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on March 23, Salt followed suit in RCB's clash against Gujarat Titans at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on April 2.
Already into the seventh match of the season, the sixes have been flying all over the park in the Indian Premier League season 18, but not many have crossed the 100 meter mark. Many batters have crossed 90 meter mark so far this season.
However, that longest hit distance may soon be breached with several other big-hitters, including Faf Du Plessis, MS Dhoni, Heinrich Klaasen and Andre Russell, who all have the power to clear most grounds, can takeover the top spot when they get a fair chance in the remaining matches.
