IPL 2025 Man of the Match Awards: Player of the Match Award Winners Of Every Game

By MyKhel Staff

The eighteenth edition of the Indian Premier League - IPL 2025 got underway on March 22, when Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) defeated the defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

And like every other cricket match or the previous editions of the IPL, there were several outstanding performances in the game, leading to one player walking away with the Man of the Match award.

Who receives man of the match award?

In any sport, Man of the Match or Player of the Match award is given to a player for his/her outstanding performance or to the one who makes the most impact in a match. Sometimes, the award is given to the best performer even if the player is on the losing side.

While the result of the match doesn't always come into consideration in deciding the man of the match, the player of the match award has been won by a player of the winning side in most games.

In IPL 2025, RCB debutant Krunal Pandya won the first player of the match award for his 4 for 29 spell, while the trend of players winning the man of the match award on their debut for new teams continued as Ishan Kishan, Noor Ahmad, Ashutosh Sharma, Quinton de Kock and Shardul Thakur won the MoM awards for their new teams.

A total of 74 matches will be played during the course of IPL season 18, and here we will update the player of the match award winners from every match right after the completion of the match and the presentation ceremony:
