The IPL 2025 Mega Auction has once again turned the spotlight on Kerala's cricketing talents.

These players have secured their spots in the auction pool with their impressive performances in domestic circuits and the Kerala Cricket League (KCL).

A total of 16 players from Kerala have made the shortlist for the IPL 2025 mega auction. Kerala's star player and captain Sachin Baby is named, along with another big talent Vishnu Vinod.

Apart from that, former RCB player Mohammed Azharuddeen is in the shortlist, while former Rajasthan Royals player Abdul Bazith also part of the list. Former Mumbai Indians pacer Basil Thampi is set to take part in the auction as well.

Apart from that, KCL star Salman Nizar, who has been a revelation for Kerala in the Ranji Trophy as well is among the players. Talented batter Rohan Kunnummal is on the list, while Jalaj Saxena and Baba Aparajith - two veterans who are representing Kerala this season in the domestic circuit have also made the final list of 574 players.

Kerala cricket continues to produce talented cricketers who thrive in domestic competitions like the KCL. The strong performances in the league have helped these players establish themselves as viable picks for IPL franchises.

Apart from the list, Sanju Samson is the solitary player from Kerala who has already been retained as Rajasthan Royals retained him for a massive Rs 18 crore.
