IPL 2025: In a dramatic twist straight out of a Bollywood screenplay, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has returned to lead Chennai Super Kings for the remainder of IPL 2025.

With Ruturaj Gaikwad ruled out due to a fractured elbow, the iconic No.7 is back at the helm - and Twitter can't keep calm.

On the eve of their crucial clash against Kolkata Knight Riders at Chepauk, CSK dropped the bombshell: Gaikwad, their newly minted skipper, would miss the rest of the season.

The 27-year-old was battling pain since being struck on the elbow during CSK's game against Rajasthan Royals in Guwahati on March 30. Despite the injury, he showed grit, playing two more matches before scans confirmed a fracture.
