The IPL 2025 has been a whirlwind of comebacks, breakthroughs, and pure cricketing theatre as it has entered its third full week.
Veterans once thought to be past their prime are clawing their way back into the spotlight, silencing doubters with gritty performances and fiery spells.

Mohammed Siraj, for one, has turned the page on a frustrating chapter, bouncing back with renewed purpose and venom. Likewise, Jofra Archer's season started with a nightmare spell that had people writing him off, only for him to rebound with vintage brilliance that reminded everyone of his class. That's the thing with IPL - the arc is never flat; it rises, dips, and soars again.
New faces are also stepping up, refusing to be just background noise. Young talents are holding their own on the big stage. Vignesh Puthur and Ashwani Kumar of Mumbai Indians have shown their class, while Aniket Verma (SRH), Priyansh Arya (PBKS) are the other notable characters who are on course to write a blockbuster opening chapter in their IPL career.
But amid this glitter, there is a few gloom. A number of talented players have so far haven't been able to showcase their prowess in the early stages. Although it is expected that they will be getting their chances along the way, the coronation in IPL 2025 is yet to arrive.
