Royal Challengers Bengaluru will take on Punjab Kings in the final of IPL 2025 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday (June 3).
As the tournament comes to a conclusion, the IPL 2025 has once again showcased its stature as the premier T20 cricket league globally, not just in terms of talent and entertainment but also in its substantial financial rewards.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has maintained a generous prize pool, ensuring that both teams and individual performers are duly recognised for their contributions.
The distribution of prize money for IPL 2025 remains consistent with the previous season, reflecting the BCCI's commitment to rewarding excellence:
Recognizing individual brilliance, the IPL 2025 has allocated the following cash prizes as well for players. At the moment, Sai Sudharsan and Prasidh Krishna (both of Gujarat Titans) are leading the race to win the Orange Cap and Purple Cap respectively, while Mumbai Indians' Suryakumar Yadav may win the Most Valuable Player award.
The cumulative prize pool for IPL 2025 stands at ₹47 crore. This substantial amount is distributed among the top four teams and individual awardees, reflecting the league's commitment to rewarding excellence.
In a significant development, the BCCI has introduced a match fee for the 2025 season. Each playing member, including the Impact Player, will receive ₹7.5 lakh per match in addition to their contracted amount.
