The Rajasthan Royals have stamped their authority as the most aggressive batting unit during the Powerplay overs in IPL 2025.
With a staggering 57 sixes in the first six overs across the season so far, the Royals lead the chart by a considerable margin. Kolkata Knight Riders trail behind with 40, followed by Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants (36 each), and Mumbai Indians (35).

Although it has been a disappointing season for the Royals, they have not been behind when it comes to batting blitzkrieg. With the likes of Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Sanju Samson and Yashasvi Jaiswal in the top order, the Royals have capitalized on their batting firepower up at the top.
What stands out even more is Rajasthan's remarkable scoring efficiency in this phase. Their run rate of 10.88 during the Powerplay is the highest among all ten teams, underlining their explosive starts. Additionally, their boundary percentage of 30.69% reflects their consistent intent to dominate from ball one - making them the most dangerous side in the initial overs of a match.
At the heart of this carnage is Yashasvi Jaiswal, who has emerged as the leading six-hitter in the Powerplay this season. The left-hander has smashed 22 sixes in the Powerplay, facing 208 deliveries in this phase. His aggression and fearless strokeplay have been pivotal in setting the tone for Rajasthan's innings throughout the season.
