Although the IPL 2025 is still three and a half months away, Royal Challengers Bengaluru's Rasikh Salam is already looking forward to it.
RCB bought the Jammu and Kashmir pacer for a whopping Rs 6 crore, which meant he was the most expensive uncapped player in the auction.

After a fantastic season with Delhi Capitals last season, the youngster was in high demand in the auction and in the end, it was the Bengaluru franchise who managed to get their man.
And as the season approaches, Rasikh is excited to play alongside Virat Kohli. But along with that, the young pacer is also looking forward to share the dressing room with India's pace star Bhuvneshwar Kumar. The 24-year-old, in an exclusive chat with MyKhel, revealed his admiration for Bhuvneshwar and said that he will be aiming to learn as much he can from the veteran.
"Among the Indian bowlers, I like Shami [Mohammed Shami] bhai, Bhuvi [Bhuvaneshwar Kumar] bhai. I love him [Bhuvneshwar] a lot, I am a similar kind of bowler to Bhuvi bhai, he's in RCB now, I will try to get [learn] as much as possible from him," Rasikh said to MyKhel.
Although Shami and Bhuvneshwar are Rasikh's most favourite Indian pacers, former South Africa ace Dale Steyn is his all-time favourite. Apart from that, Rasikh also thanked the Delhi Capitals management for their trust in him last season. Despite a few poor outings, the backing from the DC management helped Rasikh to turn things around.
"I didn't do well in my first two matches for Delhi, but the management and captain backed me. When someone trusts you, it boosts your confidence, and that's what happened. I practiced hard for the death overs and new-ball spells, and it paid off," he added.
