IPL 2025: In their determined push for a maiden IPL title, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), led by Rajat Patidar, are leaving no stone unturned.
The team is scheduled to train at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday afternoon, well ahead of the Qualifier 2 clash between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Mumbai Indians (MI) later in the evening.

RCB's practice session began at 12 noon and is expected to go on till 3 PM at the B Ground of the venue. With the evening slot reserved for the playoff fixture, the local cricket association, as reported by Cricbuzz, has not permitted any teams to practice during the evening or nighttime hours on match day.
Having secured their place in the final with a resounding win over Punjab in Qualifier 1, RCB are now waiting to see who they'll face in the summit clash on June 3. The squad landed in Ahmedabad on Saturday, May 31, after spending an extra day in Mullanpur following their victory on Thursday.
Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, had a tight travel schedule following their narrow Eliminator win over Gujarat Titans on Friday night. Instead of returning to their hotel in Mullanpur, the MI contingent, which included around 65 people - players, support staff, and family members - left directly for the Chandigarh airport.
They boarded a chartered flight around 2:30 or 3:00 AM and arrived in Ahmedabad by 4:30 AM. "We boarded around 2:30 or 3 in the morning and reached Ahmedabad by 4:30. We were at the hotel by around 5," a member of the MI camp told Cricbuzz. The team owners, who were also present for the Eliminator, flew back to Mumbai on a separate private jet.
Mumbai players were given a rest day on Saturday, while a few non-playing members of the squad showed up at the stadium for a light evening session. MI are set to face PBKS in the all-important Qualifier 2 on Sunday evening, with a place in the final up for grabs.
