Rohit Sharma has achieved a milestone in the 2024 IPL 2025 season by scoring over 400 runs, marking the first time since 2016 that he has accomplished this feat in consecutive seasons.

This achievement underscores a significant return to form for the veteran batsman, who has repeated his run-scoring spree this season as well.

In the 2024 IPL season, Rohit Sharma amassed 417 runs over 14 matches, boasting an impressive average of 32.08 and a striking strike rate of 150.00. His standout performance was a commanding 105-run innings against the Chennai Super Kings.

In this IPL season, the MI star now has 410 runs. Rohit scored a fantastic 81 against Gujarat Titans in the Eliminator, thus taking his runs tally beyond the 400 mark. The India ODI captain has so far scored 4 fifties this season as well.

Rohit's performance in 2024 mirrors the consistency he exhibited in the mid-2010s. In the 2015 season, he scored 482 runs in 16 matches, maintaining an average of 34.42 and a strike rate of 144.74, with a top score of 98. The following year, in 2016, he accumulated 489 runs over 14 matches, achieving an impressive average of 44.45 and a strike rate of 132.88, with a highest score of 85.

This return to consistent high scoring is particularly noteworthy given the fluctuations in Rohit's form in recent years. Between 2017 and 2023, he experienced a series of underwhelming seasons, with his run totals often falling below the 400-run mark.

Along with that, Rohit also reached two major milestones on the night (May 30) at the Mullanpur Stadium. The MI player notched up 7000 runs in IPL on the night, while also got to 300 sixes in the competition.
