RR vs RCB IPL 2025 Awards List: Royal Challengers Bengaluru continued their victorious merry way on the road as they beat Rajasthan Royals by 9 wickets on Sunday (April 13) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
Phil Salt and Virat Kohli starred with the batting after some decent bowling as RCB thumped Royals in the Pink City, thus emerging 3rd in the standings.

Yashasvi Jaiswal anchored the RR innings with a composed 75 off 47 balls, showcasing a blend of aggression and technique. Despite his efforts, RR's middle order struggled to accelerate, with contributions from Dhruv Jurel (35* off 23) and Riyan Parag (15 off 14) falling short of propelling the team to a more formidable total. RCB's bowlers maintained discipline, with Josh Hazlewood and Krunal Pandya effectively containing the run flow.
RCB's chase was spearheaded by an explosive opening partnership between Phil Salt and Virat Kohli. Salt's aggressive 65 off 33 deliveries set the tone, while Kohli's masterful 58* off 42 balls, marking his 100th T20 half-century, ensured a smooth pursuit of the target. Devdutt Padikkal contributed an unbeaten 29, guiding RCB to the target with ease.
Sanju Samson (RR Captain): After losing the toss on a slow wicket, 170-odd was a really good score. It was hard to bat in the powerplay. Knew Salt and Kohli would come hard at us. They won the game in the powerplay. [Dropped catches] They also dropped our catches, we also dropped their catches. It is okay, they batted better. Have to give it to RCB, their intent was better. Got to say toss helped. I would have liked to take this game to the 19th or 20th over. People have been honest in saying they committed some mistakes. We are in a good mindset. We have to put this game behind us, come back fresh and be confident about the next game. Need to keep this things aside and come back confidently.
Rajat Patidar (RCB Captain): It was really amazing the way bowlers executed their plans. It was nice to see. The way we bowled in powerplay was special. The wicket was not easy to bat. We were thinking 150 to 170. I get my confidence from bowlers, the way they bowl at any stage and any surface gives me confidence. I enjoyed Phil's batting from dugout and the way he strikes the ball was amazing. The way VK (Kohli) bhaiya rotated the strike was very special. We don't look at venue. We only look to positive cricket.
