IPL 2025: Sanju Samson to miss Gujarat Titans Clash on Monday, continues to train with Rajasthan Royals | Exclusive
Rajasthan Royals continue to miss Sanju Samson as the player is ruled out of their IPL 2025 clash on Monday (April 28) against Gujarat Titans.
RR will be gracing the Sawai Mansingh Stadium grass in search for a victory, and they will not have their star player for it.

MyKhel understands Sanju's abdominal tear issue is still not fully resolved, and the player is not currently ready to feature against the Titans.
A source told MyKhel that Sanju has been participating in all the RR training sessions. He practised with the Royals at the weekend, and on Sunday he practised as well. But on Monday, the RR captain will not feature.
During the Royals' away trip to Bengaluru, Samson continued his rehabilitation in Jaipur and the RR management is still taking it game by game for their designated captain. The Kerala player is expected to get fit for the last two matches, but nothing is concrete as of now.
On April 16, during the match against the Delhi Capitals, Samson experienced discomfort in his rib area while batting. Samson retired hurt after scoring 31 runs and subsequent assessments revealed a side strain, sidelining him for the following fixtures. Before his injury setback, Samson participated in seven matches, amassing 224 runs at an average of 37.33 and a strike rate of 140.
He played the first three matches only as a batter due to a BCCI restriction from wicketkeeping, and now Samson will miss the third match for the Royals in a row.
