Sanju Samson is currently nursing his finger issue at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru ahead of the IPL 2025 season.
The star India player is Rajasthan Royals's captain but hasn't yet joined their pre-season camp.

Although head coach Rahul Dravid, Riyan Parag, Yashasvi Jaiswal and other players have already started their training, Samson is yet to reunite with the Royals prior to the season.
MyKhel understands the Kerala player is currently at the NCA in Bengaluru, in the final phase of his recovery, and will arrive at the Rajasthan Royals camp either on Sunday or Monday. A source close to the player told MyKhel that the player has been training at the training facility of BCCI for some time now but will be ready to feature in the IPL.
The 30-year-old has reintegrated himself as a key part of India's T20 setup with his recent performances. He scored three centuries in the T20I format for India and will be aiming to continue his rich vein of form for the Royals as well.
He has played 167 IPL matches over the years, scoring 4419 runs in the process with 25 half-centuries and 3 centuries.
Samson's Champions Trophy hopes were shattered with the finger injury, but the India player will be looking forward to having a strong season with Rajasthan this term. The Royals qualified for the playoffs last season but ended up getting eliminated in Qualifier 2 against the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
As the IPL 2025 starts on March 22, Rajasthan will take the field on March 23 as they play last year's finalists, Sunrisers Hyderabad, in Hyderabad.
