The record for the highest total in IPL history remains with SRH, who notched up 287/3 against Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2024 season at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. The remarkable feat showcased the team's formidable batting prowess, setting the benchmark in T20 cricket.

Prior to SRH's back-to-back mammoth scores, Royal Challengers Bengaluru held the record.
